How 7 Articles Made Me $4,800...

It's a strategy that the top marketers have been using for years and years now - they even tell us to do it, but most of us are just too lazy! Well, I crawled out of bed and decided to test the strategy and was absolutely blown away!

Over the course of two months, I wrote a total of 7 articles that I published in a few places (I'll show you where in a minute). Then, I got sick as a dog and was in and out of the hospital.

Guess what? During the time I was sick and not working, my articles went to work for me - it was amazing. In just a few weeks I sold about 20 memberships to AffiliateClassroom.com, and am still selling till this very moment.

Over the course of a year those 20 memberships are going to earn me about $4,800 in profits. Can you believe that? Here is exactly what I did...

I wrote an article of around 500-700 words on any topic related to internet marketing ranging from "How to use solo ads" to "How to get approved for Google Adsense." Now, you're asking, well how do I write articles?

=============================

How to Write Killer Articles

=============================

1. Headline - The most important to get someone to even read the

article.

2. Introduction - To hook the reader

3. Body

4. Closing

5. Resource Box - The second most important to generate traffic

~~~~~~~~~
Headline
~~~~~~~~~

Focus the most on the headline, introduction and the resource box. Your headline needs to be catchy and needs to make a promise - the person should know exactly what they will get after reading your article.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Once they're reading your article - you need to hook them to read the whole thing, that's the only way they will read your resource box.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Resource Box
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is where you tell them something about yourself and then make an offer to get them excited enough to click a link and visit your website. For the best response, send them to a page where you can offer a fr-ee course.
============================

Why Should You Use Articles

============================

I'm going to cut through the chase and get to the point, you use articles for various reasons - they do more for you than you can imagine - here are just a few:

1. TRAFFIC

2. SALES

3. Brand yourself

4. Brand your website

5. Fre-e incoming links to your site

6. Become known as an expert...

Bottom line, NOTHING bad can ever come of writing articles - only good. That basically means that you have no excuse to not write articles to promote yourself.
============================

Where To Post Your Articles

============================

There are many places that you can start promoting your articles, here are a few:

1. Submit them to ezine publishers

2. Submit them to article directories

3. Submit them to websites

Now, all of this can be very time-consuming unless you develop a system to help you. I use 3 different automated systems to help me: A service called SubmitYourArticle.com, a software called Ezine Announcer and I also submit directly to ezines who accept articles.

If you want to learn exactly where to get these resources and how I use them, please visit http://www.AffiliateClassroom.com - we did an entire case study on this topic in February, 2005.

The bottom line is that you want your article to get out as much as possible. However, once it's out, you never need to worry about it again! It will continue to promote for you for years to come without you ever having to manage it.
==============================

Final Strategy You Should Use

==============================

I really recommend directing your resource box traffic directly to an opt-in page. Start building your list with this strategy and you can profit for a long time to come. Think of the infinite profit potential if you build a list!
=============

Final Note

=============

Do not expect this strategy to pay off in a day, a week or even a month. If you really want to use this strategy then be ready to be at it for months. Put in some work now and you will profit from it for years to come.

Newbies Guide to Writing and Submitting Ezine Articles

How many times have you read the following? If you want to expand your home based business and build an online reputation then all you need to do is write and submit ezine articles. Sounds simple. However I found the task very daunting. So I will share with you what I have learned.

Research and Plan

Firstly you need to write the articles. Write on a topic you know something about. Some ideas you have learned building your Internet business, something related to your business opportunity or a hobby or investment opportunity you have. Ensure it is interesting and informative and not just an advertisement for your home business. The most popular articles are between 300 -750 words. To find your word count, go to “tools” in the Windows menu. There is an automatic word count tab there. Some ezines want articles to contain 65 characters a line. Here is a formatting tool for free conversion to the number of characters you want. I do not pay for any listings, nor do I charge for my articles.

Here are some tips from Ezinearticles.com on writing good articles. "The first 4 words of the title are crucial to its success. The introduction can be the first paragraph. Make sure the article is keyword rich and reflects the theme of your home based business. Never put the title in the body. Never use more than 3 web addresses and they should all be different. Print a copy, proof read it, and then ask someone else to read it. Your article should look professional, with no spelling mistakes or vague sentences.

Submitting

When you are satisfied with your article start submitting it to ezines and ezine directories. Look for ezines designed for work at home people, or whatever your article is related to. It is often more time efficient to write a few articles and submit them all together. It is time consuming to manually submit. Some can be submitted thru the website others want email attachments. Some ezines want to you to subscribe, before you can submit articles. Establish an email address just for ezines. Consider an address that matches your business, for example if you sell weight loss products use something like loseweight@yourprovider.com Once you start submitting articles you will receive a lot of spam. However you need to read through it, as sometimes there is a request to reuse an article or a request for more articles and sometimes compliments.

Some people use different URL’s for every ezine they submit to. I have not done this as once they are out in cyberspace articles can be picked up by anyone. So you really do not know where the traffic is coming from. This is the beauty of the Internet. Good articles are used over and over by many ezine owners.

It is imperative to include a ‘resource box’ or ‘signature file’ at the end of your article. This is your opportunity to describe your business in a few lines and include your URL.

Do some searches for ezine directories. Here are some addresses to get you started. I cannot guarantee they are all still currentarticle-emporium.com

Marriage Advice

Marriage is a beautiful relationship. Unfortunately, during the current years, more marriages are getting broken than ever. People are not able to co exist together in marriage. What are the possible reasons? Why marriages are breaking faster, why are we not getting what we want from marriage? Are our expectations wrong? Or our choice of partner is faulty? Let us find out.

The major factors that contribute to success in marriage are - Knowing what we desire in the marriage, selecting the right partner for fulfilling those desires, defining marriage goals and getting approval about them from the partner, discussing all the issues that hurt the relationship, changing your own style of relating so that marriage becomes stronger and not giving up so easily if cracks develop and try to save the marriage. A broken marriage is not pleasant for any one and hurts.

A marriage is like a cart on two wheels. Both the partners are the wheels. If one wheel becomes weaker or if the wheels are different in size, the cart stops moving. It is similar with marriage. If one partner over dominates or demands more only for himself/herself, the marriage will suffer. For a marriage to succeed, the partners have to take care of each other's desires, emotions, physical needs and intellectual needs. Both the partners have to support each other to grow and not criticize each other. For example, if a partner knows that his/her spouse is weak in a certain area, it is the duty of the other partner to compensate that and not criticize. Another factor is fear of conflict. Sometimes, the conflicts become so pain giving that partners avoid talking to each other fearing that a conflict may arise. This fear of conflict will kill all communication. Instead what is needed is- healthy communication and peaceful resolution of conflicts in a spirit of give and take. Why should a partner be afraid of talking to other partner in a marriage? That sounds ridiculous, but this is true. This phase spells near death of a marriage.

Here is a big resource of articles and advice on marriage and relationships. Some of the articles are - Should You Marry?, Marriage - Enhancing Romantic Love, Stopping Extra-Marital Affairs and some articles on relationships are - Cheating In Relationships, Expectations And Relationships and Trust In Your Relationship.

Marriage is a beautiful phase of life. The secret lies in how to carry on for a life time. Learn more here with Marriage and relationships articles and advice.

Writing Articles - Don't Make These Mistakes

Not writing articles yet? You really should try it, if you want a lot of free traffic to your web site. A simple "Top Ten..." Or "Six Mistakes" type of article can be written by anyone. When you're ready to start writing, avoid the following common mistakes people make when writing and submitting articles.

1. Too short. If it won't fill a page, webmasters won't want it. Write articles of at least 200 words.

2. Too long. Articles that are too long won't be picked up by newsletters or most web sites. Keep it under 700 words.

3. Poor Title. "Air Safety Information," could be the best article on air-safety ever written, and "I Survived A Plane Crash" the worst, but the latter would still get more readers. Get their attention with the title, or they'll never know how good your article is.

4. No keywords in the title. If you call your story about Barrow, Alaska, "Ten Days In Hell," people looking for information on Alaska won't find it in the search engines, and won't know from the title that they may want to read it.

5. Too many links. If you have several links in the article, webmasters and newsletter publishers won't want to use it. Who wants a their website visiters to have more non-paying ways to leave? Two links may be okay at times, but I find it's best to have just one link to your website, and keep it in the author's resource box.

6. No "hook". The point of writing articles is to get traffic to your web site, so you have to invite the reader to visit. At least precede the link in your resource box with "To learn more, visit..." It's even better if you leave them hanging, like I do here by mentioning that there are more mistakes covered in my newsletter.
